During the Texas Credit Union League’s (TCUL) Compliance, Audit & Human Resources conference in Austin, Brad Pricer of CUNA Mutual Group will present “2014: Healthcare Reform Requirements and Opportunities – Are You Ready?”
Credit unions have already felt the effects of the Health Care Reform since it was signed in March 2010, especially in administering group benefit plans. In 2014, however, the new law’s requirements are expected to have an even heavier impact. Pricer explains that credit unions need to do more than simply react to legislation. During his session, Pricer will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the expectations this law and others place on employers, updates on the status of the regulations and potential upcoming changes, the risks of being out of compliance, and practical steps to meet obligations the law requires.
Session attendees will leave armed with a number of valuable tools to assure timely compliance, knowledge of potential changes to health care reform and its impact, and other applicable regulations.
