SSFCU Donates $5k to Transplants for Children

Security Service FCU's (SSFCU) Security Service Charitable Foundation recently donated $5,000 to Transplants for Children (TFC), to assist the organization in its efforts to help families manage the daily challenges associated with transplantation.

Security Service FCU’s (SSFCU) Security Service Charitable Foundation recently donated $5,000 to Transplants for Children (TFC), to assist the organization in its efforts to help families manage the daily challenges associated with transplantation. 

Jim Laffoon, SSFCU president and Charitable Foundation president (left), was joined by Barbara Taylor, SSFCU vice president and TFC board member (right), to present a check to Transplants for Children. Staci Almager, executive director (center), accepted the donatrion.

Transplants for Children empowers families to master lifelong challenges of pediatric transplantation through peer-to-peer networks, transition programs and parent education.
