Feel like you have more tasks than there are hours in the day? In today’s “always on” work environment, the pressure of accomplishing all of the to-dos on your list can dampen your productivity and instead create mental gridlock.
During the Texas Credit Union League’s (TCUL) 2013 Volunteers’ Forum, Jones Loflin of HOPE, Inc. in Denton, N.C., will present the opening keynote, “Juggling Elephants: Be the Ringmaster of Your Work and Life.” Loflin will present five timely solutions using a blueprint of a circus to help credit union professionals accomplish more within a tight schedule, including:
Better prioritizing what needs to get done so not everything is a “crisis”
Taking more conscious control of your time and energy
Creating a concrete plan to transform ideas and goals into part of your daily tasks and activities
Improving your relationships with others to increase their engagement on what is most important to you and the organization
Discovering ways to sustain productivity in today’s rigorous work environment
