Texas Primary Runoff Election Results

The slate of candidates for the Texas general election in November is now complete. In the only statewide runoff race, former Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez defeated Andrew White to be the Democratic nominee for governor and will face Gov. Greg Abbott in the general election. Incumbent Texas House members René Oliveira and Scott Cosper lost their runoffs.

Texas Trust CU Honors Inaugural Class of Arlington Collegiate H.S. with $87K in Scholarships

The 87 inaugural graduates of the Arlington Collegiate High School have each received a $1,000 scholarship from Texas Trust Credit Union. The students received the scholarships for earning their associate degree while simultaneously earning a high school diploma.

Yesterday, the President signed into law a bipartisan Congressional resolution to disapprove a rule in the form of guidance issued by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection about indirect auto lender compliance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and its implementing regulation.
