Cornerstone Supports NCUA's Efforts to Reduce Regulatory Burdens

Cornerstone Credit Union League has sent its comment letter to the National Credit Union Administration regarding its regulatory reform agenda. In the letter, SVP Regulatory Compliance Counsel Suzanne Yashewski said Cornerstone supports NCUA's efforts to reduce regulatory burdens and backs CUNA's time-prioritized recommendations.

A Hurricane Harvey Story: Cornerstone Foundation Helps Karen Colbert

Karen Colbert was there in the middle of Hurricane Harvey. Her Houston home was flooded with nearly six inches of water, while her garage was deluged by more than two feet of it. A bedroom closet ceiling collapsed as a result of chimney damage, and her clothes and shoes mildewed under murky water. Most of her furniture and appliances were destroyed or damaged, including a freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a sewing machine.

Cornerstone Foundation Gives Thanks for Support of Festival of Trees

The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation expresses its gratitude to those who made the 2017 Festival of Trees a huge success. Thanks to the wonderful committee, volunteers, credit unions, and businesses who participated, this year's festival was a joyous occasion that raised $26,000 in net proceeds for the Foundation.

Dedicated program facilitators and mentors guided the graduates through the National Credit Union Foundation's intensive Credit Union Development Education (DE) Training during its Nov. 1–8, 2017, session at the Lowell Center in Madison, Wis.
