Cornerstone Credit Union League Partners with Plexcity

The Cornerstone Credit Union League has entered into an agreement with Plexcity for back-office services. This new relationship benefits Cornerstone by reducing expenses, increasing operational efficiencies, and implementing new technology advancements to improve member focus. The partnership is part of Cornerstone's strategy to recommitt the nation’s largest regional credit union association to delivering a value proposition that ensures 100 percent of all credit unions in the Cornerstone region are engaged with the association in a meaningful way.

Tinker FCU Helps Bust Car Loan Fraud Scheme

Oklahoma’s largest credit union helped police bust an auto loan fraud scheme that involved 22 people. Employees responsible for due diligence on loan applications at the $3.7 billion Tinker Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City, initially detected that several people allegedly applied for car loans with fraudulent information from April 2016 to September 2016.

The Success of Arkansas Superior FCU's 'Change Your Checking for Good' Campaign

Last quarter, Arkansas Superior Federal Credit Union pledged to donate $10 to a local charity for every new checking account opened. Thanks to the ASFCU members who opened new checking accounts during this time, ASFCU was able to donate over $1,000 to the Hope Place charities in Monticello and Warren.

Sock It to RRCU: Red River CU's Sock Drive for Local Orgs

Early-Stage Mortgage Delinquencies Increased After Hurricane Season

CoreLogic, a leading global property information, analytics and data-enabled solutions provider, recently released its monthly Loan Performance Insights Report, which shows that, nationally, 5.1 percent of mortgages were in some stage of delinquency (30 days or more past due including those in foreclosure) in October 2017. This represents a 0.1 percentage point year-over-year decline in the overall delinquency rate compared with October 2016 when it was 5.2 percent.
