House Financial Services Committee Schedule for Week of Nov. 6

On Friday, Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) announced the committee’s schedule for the week of Nov. 6:

Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. – The Housing and Insurance Subcommittee will hold another hearing on sustainable housing finance.

Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. – The Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine proposals to reform the Federal Reserve.

Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. – The Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the Administration’s priorities for international financial institutions.

Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. – The Terrorism and Illicit Finance Subcommittee will hold a hearing entitled “Financial Intelligence and Enforcement:  Treasury’s Role in Safeguarding the American Financial System.”

Thursday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m. – The Housing and Insurance Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine the role of Ginnie Mae in the housing finance system.
