Young Professional Advisor Application

Every two years, Cornerstone selects a group of Young Professional Advisors (YPAs) to lead the charge in encouraging credit union young professionals (CUYPs) throughout the region. YPAs are credit union young professionals from a League affiliated credit union that want to make a difference in the movement and encourage their fellow credit union young professionals.

Goal

The goal of the YPAs is to bring the best and brightest young minds from Cornerstone’s credit unions together to:

Incite positive change for the future
Break down barriers for more inclusive collaboration
Bring new perspectives to the credit union system

Commitment

They will make a commitment to:

Be engaged in their local chapter/area as well as other areas that may be assigned to them
Participate in committees with other YPAs
Attend Cornerstone Young Professional Conferences, two other conferences (selected by the YP Program Manager) and other YP virtual and in-person meetings (when needed) within the two year timeframe
Provide Cornerstone with feedback and insight on YPs

Attend selected Cornerstone conferences (free registration and paid travel) and participate in exclusive programming

Expenses

Travel (airline and/or milage) are covered by Cornerstone. Lodging and food will be the responsibility of the YPA’s credit union.
