Taking the mystery out of political engagement
The Oklahoma Credit Union Association is rolling out its inaugural 2020 Ambassador Program, which is designed to take the mystery out of political engagement. Led by OKCUA Executive Director Nate Webb, credit union leadership and interested staff will find an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
- Take the first step in fostering a relationship with your lawmaker;
- Learn the most productive ways to engage with elected officials;
- Optimize your in-person messaging for maximum impact; and
- Enhance your value as a leader with advocacy skills.
Each of the six no-cost sessions begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Credit Union House (631 E. Hill St., Oklahoma City, OK 73105), moves to the Oklahoma State Capitol, and ends after lunch. A maximum of five people will round out each session.
Choose the date that works best for you, bearing in mind that the registration deadline for each event is five business days before the event.
