Webinar: Succession Planning

Succession at all levels is top of mind at credit unions these days. The long-term success of any strategy depends upon the leadership and culture of the organization, because even the best strategies can fail or falter when succession isn’t planned for or managed properly. If you’ve ever seen the needle on a seismograph bounce up and down in response to an earthquake, you can imagine what an improperly planned leadership change can have on a credit union’s team and culture. The credit union’s ability to reach its long-term vision or strategic priorities will depend on its ability to pick the right leaders and properly manage the transition.

Learner Outcomes

  • Understand how leadership change can impact the credit union’s culture
  • Understand how the impact on culture can have long-term repercussions on a credit unions strategic long game
  • Review best practices on what to look and prepare for to minimize the seismic damage to your team
