For credit union staff and volunteers serving in credit unions with less than $100M in assets, this session will focus on the supervisory committee’s broad oversight and authority in the credit union.  Learn how to hold a credit union's board of directors and staff accountable and for operating according to sound business, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Tana Hoffman is the Regional Solutions Representative working with Kansas credit unions to provide support, consulting and awareness of Cornerstone products and services.  Tana is also a liaison to the Lending & Collections Council.

Tana has worked with banks and credit unions for over 25 years. Prior to starting with the Kansas Credit Union Association (now Cornerstone League) in 2014, she served several years as a Senior Financial Examiner for the Kansas Department of Credit Unions where she performed examinations for credit unions of all sizes, focusing mostly on credit unions in the eastern half of Kansas. Along the way she earned designation from NASCUS of CSCUES (Certified State Credit Union Examiner Supervisor).  Before becoming an examiner, Tana managed a small credit union in northeast Kansas.  Tana started her credit union path at Santa Fe Credit Union in Topeka, KS.
