Hosted by: HR Council
From hiring and retaining skilled workers amidst a labor shortage to designing appropriate remote work policies, COVID-19 has transformed the HR landscape. Labor attorney Elisaveta “Leiza” Dolghih will discuss what types of HR-related lawsuits to expect in this new terrain. Minimizing the risk of employee lawsuits is also on the agenda, along with discussion of crafting appropriate language for employment agreements and handbooks, responding to employee accommodation requests, handling voluntary and involuntary terminations, and documenting disciplinary actions. Recent developments in non-compete agreement enforcement and the new Texas sexual harassment law round out this presentation.
