FiCEP - Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC)

financial counselingFiCEP is an enhanced and unique training program for credit union staff looking to assist and empower members to improve their financial well-being. Upon completion of the 8-module program, graduates become Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors (CCUFC). This program combines the convenience of a self-study program with group hands-on learning.

Group Training and Support

The FiCEP curriculum includes:

  • Welcome video from your instructor
  • Eight modules presented in print format to be read at the student’s pace prior to webinar viewing
  • Eight tutorial webinars to recap and highlight each module (archived)
  • Printable study guides to accompany each webinar
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
  • Online practice quizzes
  • Student Success Plan
  • Two live In-Person review with testing to follow
  • Foundation staff proctored online tests of 100 questions each – one mid-term and one at final

*In-person training sessions & proctored testing will take place in all 3 Cornerstone region states IF each state has a minimum of 5 participants.

Low Cost!

The Cornerstone Foundation has provided funds to reduce program costs.

$550 per student
If 2 students share a set of books, the second student pays $200. Sharing is 2 users to 1 purchase ratio only.

$975 per student for non-member CUNA credit unions
If 2 students share a set of books, the second student pays $200. Sharing is 2 users to 1 purchase ratio only.

$200 per student for credit unions using the CUNA training bundle package
Students are responsible for transportation to and from live group training and testing sessions.
