Resources' Cheryl Sayers celebrates 20th anniversary

Cheryl Sayers, remote transaction resources consultant with Credit Union Resources, Inc., recently celebrated her 20th anniversary with the company. When Sayers started at Credit Union Resources, she worked at standalone branch offices in Austin, Texas. “Cheryl came in and helped us understand how to run those branches,” said Karen Hart, EVP, chief financial officer/chief administrative officer for the Cornerstone Credit Union League. “Cheryl has been around for a long time, and that is quite an accomplishment. I thank her for all she’s done for our credit unions.”

On Wednesday, staff from the Cornerstone Credit Union League, Credit Union Resources, and the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation attended a virtual meeting to celebrate Sayers’ many years of service. Employees and executives alike shared comments about her positivity and dedicated service to member credit unions.

“Cheryl is a ray of sunshine,” said Barb Lowman, EVP, chief growth officer, Credit Union Resources. “She is the first to respond in any situation with a positive attitude. I appreciate her dedication and commitment to our credit unions.”

Employees honor Cheryl Sayers for her many years of dedication through a virtual celebration, holding up fingers to signify her 20th anniversary.

Chad Stanislav, audit & consulting services VP, added, “Cheryl is one of those special people who makes everyone feel welcome, and this is how she approaches her clients. She knows them personally and establishes very strong relationships.”

Other employee comments included, “I hear wonderful kudos from our credit unions for all you do,” and “You go above and beyond for our credit unions. At any moment whether it’s 8 o’clock in the evening or early Saturday morning, you are there to serve them.”
