National Credit Union Administration Board Member Todd Harper, who is the first NCUA staff member to become a board member, joins podcast host Mike Lawson to discuss industry issues and trends on his six-month anniversary since taking office. Some of the topics covered include:
- Risk-based capital rule;
- CECL;
- Cybersecurity efforts;
- Consumer financial protection; and
- Cannabis banking.
Board Member Harper also outlined his responsibilities, working with Board Chair Rodney Hood and Board Member Mark McWatters.
