Employee Surveys help CUs identify workplace strengths and weaknesses

Posted: Oct 8, 2019 | Author: Cornerstone Credit Union League

Business research consistently shows a link between employee satisfaction and factors such as absenteeism, turnover, and quality of service. These issues can impact your bottom line in surprisingly powerful ways. Employee surveys offered through the Cornerstone Credit Union League provide accurate feedback that will benefit everyone, from tellers to your CEO.

How does the survey work?
Employee surveys consist of asking employees for feedback on topics, such as:

  • Relationships with coworkers and supervisors
  • Morale
  • Teamwork
  • Training
  • Communications
  • Benefits
  • Productivity
  • Innovation
  • Ethics
  • Quality of service
  • Stress in the workplace

Cornerstone uses quadrant analysis to plot each of the topics based on perceived importance and satisfaction. This provides a clear representation of the strengths and challenges of your workplace environment. Employees may also write their own personal comments in the survey, which are provided verbatim to your credit union. In the final report, survey results are segmented by factors such as branch location, length of employment, and gender.

Typically, the surveys are conducted online; however, traditional paper surveys may also be used. If you would like to drill down into particular survey findings, our staff can follow up with focus groups or one-on-one interviews of your employees.
