The UARK Federal Credit Union in Fayetteville, Ark., opened a new micro branch on July 12. This south Fayetteville location offers members a full suite of services with one exception: mortgage loans, which can be obtained at the Administrative branch.
Now that UARK has a community charter for all of Fayetteville, having a credit union as a banking alternative for residents in south Fayetteville will be an advantage to many.
“This new location is important because it is close to our founding group, which is the University of Arkansas employees, and is close to many of our biggest and longest-lived select employer groups,” said Gina Williams, president/CEO of UARK Federal Credit Union.
She added, “We are fortunate to be in a position to really give back to our members in the form of technologically advanced services, as well as the addition of this branch that is centered where so many of our loyal members live and work. With locations in both north and south Fayetteville, we can more easily fulfill serving the underserved in the city of Fayetteville.”
