This summer, Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) is promoting financial literacy at Yukon Public School’s Camp Next.
During the eight-week summer camp program, TFCU’s Financial Education team is hosting several workshops for students entering grades six through eight. Workshop topics include budgeting, navigating finances in adulthood, and more.
Yukon’s Camp Next provides teens the opportunity to participate in a highly energetic and interactive program with a variety of activities and service projects. The focus of the program is having fun while engaging in projects that give back to the community.
“TFCU is always excited about our new and existing opportunities to teach our youth smart money habits,” said Heather Kay, assistant vice president and manager of financial education. “We look forward to working with Yukon Public Schools again next year.”
