Space City Charities awarded 12 recipients with more than $32,000 in scholarships. Two of the winners each received a $10,000 scholarship, which will be awarded in four $2,500 annual payments. The other 10 winners were each awarded a single $2,500 scholarship. For more details please see www.spacecitycharities.org.
Space City Charities in Houston awarded its first scholarship in 2011 and since then has awarded more than $172,350 to students eager to further their education. Space City Charities was formed by Space City Credit Union in 2010.
