At this year's Young Professionals Conference, Aug. 15–16 in Austin, you’ll want to take full advantage of your conference EXPERIENCE! Join one of our power hour sessions for a quick-paced, informative sharing of best practices and bring real-life experiences and problem-solving skills to the table.
We’ve put together insightful and inspiring general sessions you won’t want to miss!
Wednesday’s events:
- Professional Headshots, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
- Networking Reception (optional), 4:30 – 5: 30 p.m.
Thursday’s lineup:
- Opening General Session: Rocky Garza, founder/principal of RockyGarza.com and Staff Retreat Co., will discuss “Defining Our Why: Starting with What Matters Most.”
- General Session: Ronaldo Hardy, CUDE, thought leader specializing in fostering growth through innovation, will give a talk on “The Elephant in the Room.”
Friday’s program:
- General Session: DeDe Murcer Moffett, expert in professional success, leadership, and employee engagement, will present “SNAP Yes to Success!”
- Closing General Session: Raven Solomon, a millennial who’s cracked the code on how to lead intergenerational teams, will talk about “Leading Your Parents.”

Pack for a purpose to help Austin homeless
For the YP Advisors’ corporate social responsibility efforts, they are partnering with Community First Village in Austin. The YP Advisors are collecting in-kind donations up to the Young Professional’s Conference and on-site at the conference.
Donate new items, including:
- Socks
- Underwear
- Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, and mouthwash
- Razors
- Shaving cream
- Combs
- Shampoo
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Lip balm
- Band-Aids and small first-aid kits
- Sunscreen
- Nail clippers
Even if you don’t have room to pack some these items, consider grabbing new toiletries from your hotel room or stopping by a store to pick up a few things.
