We hope you're planning to join us in Washington, D.C., Sept. 18–20, for Cornerstone Credit Union League's annual Hike the Hill, one of our most vital advocacy events. Hike the Hill is a prime opportunity to teach our principles and philosophy to those who make the laws and issue the regulations. After all, only you can relate the stories of how your credit union serves your members and communities in ways no other financial institutions can.
If you're a seasoned Hiker, we're grateful for your voice of experience and the influence on which we're all able to capitalize! If you've never been to a Cornerstone Hike, this is your opportunity to stand up for a cause we all believe in: the advancement and sustainability of credit unions, protection of our tax status, and a significant decrease in regulatory burdens.
We can't do it alone. We need you with us when we converge on Capitol Hill. With 12 new members of Congress representing the Cornerstone region, new board members Rodney Hood and Todd Harper at the NCUA, and new CFPB Director Kathy Kraninger, there's no more important time to be in D.C. spreading the message about the credit union difference.
This year, we'll be lodging at the Mayflower Hotel. Get the discounted room block rate when you book your room by Aug. 20.
