The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation is available to help credit union staff and volunteers when disasters hit, including severe storms and hurricanes. Disasters are identified as fire, wind, hail, or flood damages to an individual’s home or vehicle.
Working together with the National Credit Union Foundation, CUNA, other leagues, and affected credit unions, funds are distributed directly to credit union staff and volunteers in need, so they can stabilize their lives and continue to serve their members.
“In times of crisis, the Foundation is here to help our credit union volunteers and employees get back on their feet," said Foundation Executive Director Courtney Moran. “We are able to respond because of credit unions' generosity and commitment to ‘people helping people.’”
