UFCU partners with only level-one adult trauma center in Central Texas

Posted: Jul 16, 2019 | Author: UFCU

Austin-based University Federal Credit Union has announced a ribbon-cutting celebration of its newest location, UFCU Trinity, in the Health Transformation Building of University of Texas at Austin. The event will take place today, July 16, 4–6 p.m. at 1601 Trinity Street, Austin, Texas.

“As a social purpose credit union, we are working to effect change in the areas of education, employment, and housing across our communities,” said Heather McKissick, SVP community impact. “Our vision makes it a natural fit for us to partner with Ascension Seton and support the Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, the only level one adult trauma center in Central Texas. With this teaching hospital and the medical school, Ascension Seton and UT are opening doors to education and expanding access to middle-skill jobs across Central Texas.”

The UFCU Trinity location is at the heart of the UFCU-Ascension Seton collaboration. The new location uniquely positions UFCU to offer attractive financial solutions and financial education to the entire Ascension Seton community, including UFCU members living near, working at, or visiting UT Austin’s Dell Medical School or UT Health Austin, the clinical practice of the Dell Medical School.

Media is invited to join UFCU, as well as special guests from Ascension Seton, University of Texas at Austin, and Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce to celebrate this relationship and continued community prosperity.
