  • See how the value of cooperative philosophies apply in the day-to-day operations of your credit union;
  • Gain insight into the historical and current social impact of credit unions;
  • Understand why credit unions are different and how to leverage that for growth; and
  • Create a plan of action for your credit union.

Facilitator: Courtney Moran

Courtney MoranCourtney Moran, executive director of the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation, provides leadership and strategic direction for the Foundation’s goals, philosophy, and mission. Previously, she worked in financial services in roles ranging from operations to marketing. Moran oversees the Foundation FOCUS program, which promotes financial education among credit unions, educators, and partner organizations. As part of FOCUS, she also conducts "train-the-trainer" sessions throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Moran earned her Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation and her International CUDE designation. She became a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor and serves as a director on the National Credit Union Foundation board and as a member of the Advisory Council and Outreach committee for BizKid$.
