After years of holding an annual golf tournament, the chapter decided to change things up and hosted a “Bowl A Thon” in May with the theme “Red, White and Bowl.” Most of the chapter credit unions participated and a good time was had by all. Prizes were awarded for the best score, best decorated/best dressed, and most spirit. Decorated bowling pin trophies were the coveted prizes.
A check was presented to the local Circle of Friends Chapter, which is a fundraising chapter that gives 100% of their funds to Arkansas Children’s. The Wright Patman Chapter teamed up with Circle of Friends to help make a larger impact on the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital that serves the local community. A check for the Bowl A Thon’s donation was presented, totaling $5,500.
