Wyrope Williamsport FCU selects new president/CEO

Wyrope Williamsport Federal Credit Union in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, has named Brittany Baker as its new president/CEO effective June 10. Credit Union Resources, Inc. conducted the executive search for the $35 million credit union. 

Baker’s credit union experience and expertise in strategic management and operations will be an asset to Wyrope Williamsport FCU. Her passion for loan production, membership growth, and creative marketing will help Wyrope Williamsport continue to provide exceptional service to its members.

Baker comes to Wyrope Williamsport from BB&T Bank in Sunbury, where she served as assistant vice president, cluster market leader III. She was responsible for soliciting business to grow new deposits, lending, and investment accounts. At BB&T Bank, Baker improved failing compliance audit scores of 69 and 80 to passing scores of 90 and 95 through strategic employee shifts, coaching, and accountability implementation.

Prior to working at BB&T Bank, Baker was the assistant vice president, branch manager I, at PNC Bank in Williamsport. She was responsible for coaching and guiding new and existing employees through sales and service goals, as well as enhancing existing household relationships through share of wallet growth.

Baker holds an associate degree in human resources management from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Baker is registered with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and has completed coursework from the Professional Development Network at the American Institute of Banking.
