Fifty high school and college student scholarship recipients were recognized by the A+ FCU Board of Directors during a reception on May 15.

The A+ Federal Credit Union Board of Directors awarded 50 Central Texas high school and college students with $100,000 in scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year.

The scholarships have been an A+FCU tradition since 1984. Each student receives $2,000 to help with educational expenses. The 50 recipients were selected for their academic achievements and community involvement and represent 34 high schools and six colleges.

“The A+FCU Scholarship Program began by awarding two scholarships and has grown to what it is today,” said Kerry A.S. Parker, A+FCU CEO. “We are very proud to be able to expand a program that awards students with funds to help fulfill their dream of going to college.”
