Education First FCU presents $36,000 to local high school seniors

Posted: Jun 4, 2019 | Author: Cornerstone Credit Union League

Education First Federal Credit Union (EFFCU) recently announced its scholarship recipients for the class of 2020. Each year, representatives from Education First personally present students from 36 high schools in Southeast Texas with $1,0000 scholarships. Due to COVID-19, those ceremonies were cancelled. Instead of in-person presentations, EFFCU put together a video honoring this year’s scholarship recipients.

Since 1999, when the credit union first began distributing its scholarships, EFFCU has awarded $551,000.
