Only a few slots remaining for Southwest CUNA Management School class of 2021

Posted: May 29, 2019 | Author:

SCMSThe Southwest CUNA Management School provides innovative, intense, hands-on professional development in the credit union movement. Students attend classes over three consecutive summers and two mid-year sessions. During this journey, they:

  • Enhance their leadership skills;
  • Participate in forward-thinking classes and discussions;
  • Engage in top-level networking opportunities; and
  • Develop a real-life strategic plan for their credit unions.

Throughout the ages, leaders have been charged with the responsibility to motivate, influence, and enable others to attain results that defy their own perceptions of what is possible. How do leaders of social change ignite passion for a vision greater than themselves, challenge the status quo, engage the heart, and encourage the follower? Dr. Troy Hall, CUDE, chief strategy officer with South Carolina FCU, will discuss this and more in the course, The Impact of Leaderships: Leading Self, Others & the Organization.

In the Credit Unions, Start Your Growth Engines course, Julie Ferguson, CUDE, owner of JRF Consulting Services, LLC, takes students on an interactive exploration, showing them how to transform their sales and business development culture and how this shift can eliminate barriers to strategic growth. Students will learn about developing their team’s sales skills while tapping into new ideas on lead generation to attract their credit union’s target market. Students will also use tools to discover the value in transitioning order takers into proactive partners who can build long-term relationships to fuel their credit union’s growth.

If you’re interested in advancing your career, enroll now in SCMS. For more information, contact Janine McBee, CUDE, CMM, Experiences & Events director at 800-442-5762, ext. 6634 or 469-385-6634.
