Please join us in Washington, DC, Sept. 18–20, for Cornerstone Credit Union League's annual Hike the Hill, and help us make a powerful impact for credit unions.
We should never underestimate the impact one person can make in any grassroots advocacy campaign. But when you multiply the efforts of one person by an Army of Advocates, the impact can be transformational. That's why Hike the Hill is a prime opportunity for credit union advocates to teach our core principles and philosophy to those who make the laws and issue the regulations. Only advocates can relate the stories of how credit unions serve their members and communities in ways no other financial institutions can.
With 12 new members of Congress representing the Cornerstone region, new board members Rodney Hood and Todd Harper at the NCUA, and new CFPB Director Kathy Kraninger, there's no more important time to be in DC spreading the message about the credit union difference.
