After the ballots were counted, Chairman Mike Kloiber announced that the proposal to restate the bylaws passed overwhelmingly, with a vote of 94 to 6.
"We want to extend our gratitude and appreciation to our members for their time, interest, and participation in the lead-up to voting in this democratic process," said Cornerstone Credit Union League President/CEO Caroline Willard. "We are committed to meeting the needs of our member credit unions in the best way possible, and we have every confidence that these new bylaws will ensure we're well-positioned to accomplish just that."
Also at this meeting, new officers of the League board were elected, as follows:
"We're so pleased to welcome our newest complement of directors," said Willard. "Congratulations to all! Cornerstone is in an upward trajectory to meet some challenging new goals, and we are highly optimistic that we'll achieve them with this newly minted board helping to guide us."
These new board members will have one-year terms before next year’s resetting of the board, per the new bylaws.
