Greater Texas CU promotes new Lamar branch manager

Greater Texas Credit Union has promoted Ceara Bindl to the position of branch manager with to run the Lamar branch in Austin, starting on Feb. 1, 2019.

Bindl began her career at Greater Texas in 2016 as a teller at the Aggieland branch in College Station. Within a year, she was promoted to member services representative in Austin and was most recently the member services supervisor at the Lamar branch. She will oversee frontline operations and community outreach.

“I started work with the credit union as a teller at our Aggieland Branch and moved back to Austin shortly after and continued my credit union career,” said Bindl. “Over the past three years, I have been fortunate enough to work alongside wonderful staff and management who have taught me everything I know. I am grateful to have the experience to learn about the financial industry and work closely with our members.”

Greater Texas Credit Union has 19 locations across the state, has been serving Texans since 1952 and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
