Windthorst FCU gives $300,000 to members in dividends and rebates

Posted: Jan 11, 2019 | Author:

The Windthorst Federal Credit Union board of directors announced that $300,000 in bonus dividends and loan interest rebates were paid to members for dividends earned on deposits and loan interest paid on loans for accounts in good standing as of Dec. 31, 2018.

This is the 16th year in a row that bonus dividends and loan interest rebates have been paid, totaling $2.4 million. Deposited rebates and dividends were paid to WFCU member share accounts and reflected on their Dec. 31, 2018, statements.

“This is just one way our members can enjoy the benefits of belonging to a credit union where profits are returned to our member/owners,” said WFCU's CEO Judy L. Koetter.
