Common Cents Credit Union announces the promotion of Holly Hebert to serve as the vice president of information systems.
"In her nine months at Common Cents Credit Union, Holly has demonstrated hard work and dedication to her job," said Donnielle Goff, chief executive officer of Common Cents CU. “During this time, Holly has willingly and consistently performed job duties that go above and beyond her recent position as marketing specialist. Her willingness to help and her capability of handling compliance, along with her assistance in ensuring the credit union is continually operating to the best of its ability, has proven to me that she is made for this job.”
Hebert, a lifelong resident of southeast Texas, graduated from Lamar University. She is active within the credit union’s local communities and is currently serving as president of Sabine Chapter of Credit Unions. Hebert has worked in the credit union industry for more than 13 years. She started with Common Cents Credit Union in July 2019, serving as the credit union’s marketing specialist.
In her new role, Hebert will be responsible for communicating and coordinating projects between the credit union and host systems, guiding any migration processes of credit union products and services, training and development of staff, and fulfilling the role of compliance to ensure the credit union is operating efficiently and within its set regulations and guidelines. She will also continue to be active in the local community through Common Cents Credit Union’s business development efforts.
“I am extremely honored, humbled, and thankful for this opportunity,” said Hebert. “I love our credit union family and our community, and I enjoy helping others. I feel this position will allow me to help others in their professional and personal growth and development. I am a firm believer that education/training and establishing firm foundations are key essentials to growth and development. These factors will allow us to continue to train and develop our team, as well as to continue to establish and enhance products and services that are relevant to our member's needs. Combining these efforts along with our amazing team and credit union values, not only will we be able to continue to stabilize our foundation, but it will also allow us to enhance our relevancy and provide the best possible products and service to our credit union members and local communities."
