We all share a common goal of improving credit unions and the communities they serve. We believe that we all benefit when we strive to collaborate with each other, and share ideas and knowledge. At Cornerstone Credit Union League, we promote collaboration among credit unions and industry organizations.

Chapters exist to provide a collaborative environment for credit union professionals and volunteers to receive education, leadership development, and grow credit union community influence. The Cornerstone Chapter Program promotes unity among credit unions in a local area through communication, training and participation in community, state and national projects that support the cooperative spirit of the credit union movement. Credit union professionals are strongly encouraged to participate in local chapter programs and educational offerings.

Our council program offers professionals of our member credit unions with unique opportunities for networking and relationship building through regional council activities and unique council benefits. These councils provide fingertip access that connects credit union professionals and volunteers with specific industry topics and issues related to their areas of expertise. In turn, council members share their best practices, learn about the latest industry issues, and prepare for tomorrow's opportunities.

Coordinated Initiatives

Cornerstone Credit Union League also offers various programs to assist credit unions in finding the knowledge or resources they need. We coordinate donations for small credit unions who need equipment or furniture. We have also created a vendor reference application where credit unions can share knowledge of vendors that they have used or worked with. For credit union professionals, staff and volunteers seeking to strengthen their skills or credit union professionals, staff and volunteers (both current and retired), seeking to help develop credit union leaders, we offer the Collaboration Program.

Young Professionals

The Cornerstone Credit Union League is actively working to engage young professionals working in the credit union industry. Being a credit union professional carries with it a unique set of responsibilities. In order to defend our unique, not-for-profit cooperative structure, it is essential that credit union professionals are actively engaged in their local communities.
