AMOCO FCU Selects Credit Union Resources to Conduct VP Searches
Friday, September 29, 2017 6:30 AM

Credit Union Resources has been selected to conduct two searches for the positions of vice president of lending and vice president of branch operations for AMOCO Federal Credit Union in Texas City, Texas.

The vice president of lending is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plans for the credit union and will prepare and implement the plan for the consumer, mortgage, and small business lending areas. The new vice president of lending will have experience in loan administration, portfolio management, and risk management.

As the vice president of branch operations, this experienced executive will be responsible for the overall operations at the credit union. The position requires an individual with a history of strong leadership skills and experience developing and driving strategic policy.

AMOCO FCU has $850 million in assets, 10 locations, serves 554 local sponsor companies, and more than 80,000 members located throughout the country. The credit union was chartered in 1937, originally organized to serve the financial needs of employees of the Pan American Refining Corporation of Texas City. Eighty years later, AMOCO continues to grow in the Houston and Galveston areas, largely due to the satisfaction and loyalty of its members and the commitment of their volunteers and staff.

The executive searches for AMOCO FCU’s vice president of lending and vice president of branch operations will be led by Marcus Cotton, vice president of executive recruiting at Credit Union Resources.
