ALM Resources offers a semi-annual ALM educational audio/visual CD series presented by Dr. Charles R. Idol. The CDs are produced and made available to credit unions in the 1st and 3rd quarters (typically in May and October) of each year. In each approximate 90-minute CD, Dr. Idol discusses current credit union ALM-related topics and issues that are of interest to credit union management, board, and asset/liability management committee members (ALCOs). The CD typically contains 14 to16 topical segments (each running from three to eight minutes) that can be viewed selectively from an on-screen outline (that allows pausing for discussion and questions) or sequentially in a single 90-minute viewing.

The information covered is roughly that of essentials and advanced workshops, yet expanded to include assessment of ALM procedures in the individual's credit union.
These mentoring sessions are valuable for new board and staff members or individuals assuming greater levels of responsibility within a credit union.
