PAC stands for political action committee. PACs are organized for the express purpose of raising and spending money to help elect or defeat political candidates, depending on whether they support our cause. Our goal is to support candidates who can champion credit unions.
Your contributions to PAC allow us to have a greater impact with candidates than you could make as an individual. Contributing to PAC is not only a contribution but an investment in your credit union AND in your future.
"In order to preserve an environment in which credit unions not only exist, but thrive, we must raise our influence with elected officials. The most effective means of achieving maximum influence is by contributing to your state’s Political Action Committee (PAC). PACs allow us greater impact with elected officials than we could make as individuals. Contributing to the PAC is an investment in your credit union, and your future."
