Young Professional Crashers Hike the Hill

Each crasher will receive complimentary conference registration and be able to apply for a $500 grant to help defray travel expenses.

What’s the Value of ELEVATE to YPs?

Here are just a few of the reasons these young professionals are excited about being chosen as this year’s ELEVATE Crashers:

Courtney Wingo: “I have dedicated my life to the cause of people helping people. I believe that attending events such as this one only deepens that dedication and reignites the passion for service that can be lost in the monotony of day-to-day operations. I want to utilize this event to strengthen my own personal development and build new relationships at the same time.”

Myra Jackson: “I am in the stage of my career where developing my professional skills and increasing my knowledge base are important to effectively prepare for the future. Right now, I am managing employees from four different generations so getting some tips on how I can navigate this unique situation would be a great opportunity.”

Miguel Garcia: “I am passionate about the credit union difference: people helping people. As a fresh leader in the credit union industry, I want to be able to elevate my leadership skills so I can effectively lead my team and collaborate with my superiors. My hope, after attending ELEVATE Leadership, is to [gain] knowledge on how to more effectively implement new strategies to increase our presence within the community and incorporate new ideas to reinvigorate the credit union industry.”

Diana Padilla: “I will be able to meet the people that are making history and take home some of their wisdom!”

Stefy Tomlin: “I am most excited about the opportunity Crash Hike the Hill offers to make a difference in our members’ lives through influencing policy by advocating for their interests through discussions with our elected officials.”
