Introducing the Oklahoma Ambassador Program

Do you want to initiate a conversation with your local lawmakers but don’t know where to start? The Oklahoma Credit Union Association is launching a new Ambassador Program that will take place during the 2022 Regular Session of the Oklahoma State Legislature.

OKCUA Executive Director Nate Webb will help you learn to take the first step in fostering a relationship with your lawmaker, teach you productive ways to engage with elected officials, and help enhance your value as a leader with advocacy skills. This program offers an outstanding opportunity for credit union employees who want to gain hands-on experience and add career-building skills.

Sessions will take place on Feb. 15, March 15, March 29, April 26, and May 17. There are only five openings so register soon. Participation in the Ambassador Program is complimentary to Cornerstone-member credit unions. For more information visit: OK Ambassador Program (cornerstoneleague.coop).
