Young Professionals to Host Backpack Drive at YPC

This year Young Professionals are hosting another in-person backpack drive to gather school supplies for a school to help local children whose families do not have the means to purchase school supplies. While the coronavirus pandemic put a damper on last year’s in-person backpack drive, the Young Professionals were able to host an online backpack drive.

The unique circumstances of last year, paired with the successes of the past, have opened the door for the Young Professionals to once again call upon the generosity of credit union professionals across the Cornerstone region. This year, the back-to-school backpack drive is back as a hybrid of both in-person at the Young Professionals Conference—this year taking place from Aug. 11-13—as well as online events for local schools.
