CoastLife CU YPs help Corpus Christi children stay focused during STAAR testing

The CoastLife Credit Union Young Professionals group recently dropped off more than 650 snacks and 250 bottles of water for George Evans Elementary School students to enjoy during their yearly STAAR testing. The Corpus Christi, Texas, credit union serves a low-income population, many of whom may experience food insecurity.

“In providing snacks and water to George Evans Elementary students, we are helping set up our future leaders for success on their test,” said Edward Rivas, CoastLife CU trainer. “Supporting the community is part of our mission at CoastLife Credit Union and we know the kids will do great on their test.”
