Question: Why do you love working for a credit union?

Answer: I love working for a credit union because credit unions are for the people. Our motto at Resource One is “people helping people” and it’s not just something we say, but something we practice daily. Credit unions are not only about helping the people of their community, but they also help each other. There is no other industry I’ve worked in where I could call, what the world would consider to be, our competitor and ask for advice and guidance. I have learned and seen that the credit union world is not a competitive world, but more like a coalition, the more credit unions, the more communities we can help.

Question: What is one thing you are excited to do as a Young Professional Advisor?

Answer: I am excited to do so many things as a Young Professional Advisor, from political action fundraising to community outreach events. The thing that I am most excited to do is connect with other young professionals and build a network of likeminded individuals.

Question: What is one fun fact about you?

Answer: A fun fact about me: I love to host game night parties (pre-COVID) and I am always determined to win each and every game I play.
