TruService Expands Family Financial Education Through Cornerstone Foundation Grant

TruService Community Federal Credit Union is recognizing the impact of a Cornerstone Foundation community development grant that helped support the credit union’s partnership with My First Nest Egg, a family-focused financial literacy platform for children. 

With support from the grant, TruService has expanded access to financial education resources for families across Arkansas, reinforcing the credit union’s commitment to community financial literacy and youth empowerment.

The grant helped make interactive tools available to families, including savings challenges, chore and allowance tracking, goal-setting activities, and classroom-ready materials designed to make money conversations more approachable, practical, and engaging.

My First Nest Egg was created to provide modern, family-centered financial education tools that help children build confidence around saving, spending, budgeting, and financial decision-making.

The effort also highlights the broader role the Cornerstone Foundation continues to play across the credit union movement by investing in programs that support financial well-being, education, and community outreach.
