Apply for the Tony L. Black Memorial Scholarship
The African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) Texas Regional Chapter is now accepting applications for the Tony L. Black Memorial Scholarship, which will provide $3,000 to help a recipient attend the 2026 AACUC Annual Conference, scheduled for Aug. 3-6, 2026.
The scholarship may be used to cover conference-related expenses, including registration, hotel, airfare, and other combined costs. Scholarships will be approved before the conference, with reimbursement issued after proof of attendance and receipts are submitted.
Applicants must reside in Texas, work as an industry-related professional, and have an active AACUC membership before funds are disbursed.
The application deadline is May 29, 2026.
This opportunity offers Texas credit union professionals a chance to access a meaningful development experience while honoring the legacy of Tony L. Black.
