Festival of Trees Events Raise More Than $18,582 for the Cornerstone Foundation

This winter, Cornerstone chapters across the region came together to support the Cornerstone Foundation through a series of Festival of Trees–themed fundraising events, reinforcing the credit union philosophy of people helping people.
Chapters in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas hosted holiday-themed gatherings ranging from tree auctions and gift raffles to festive chapter celebrations. Together, these events generated more than $18,582 in support of the Cornerstone Foundation, helping advance the Foundation’s mission to strengthen credit unions and the communities they serve.
The Greater Oklahoma Chapter hosted a Festival of Trees auction featuring decorated trees and silent auction items, while the Fort Worth Chapter incorporated Foundation fundraising into its annual holiday celebration. The Amarillo Chapter hosted its Festival of Gifts, and the Arkansas Chapter rounded out the season with its Reindeer Games event.

Each event reflected the creativity, generosity, and commitment of Cornerstone chapter leaders and volunteers. Their collective efforts demonstrate how local engagement can translate into meaningful, region-wide impact—ensuring continued support for scholarships, grants, disaster relief, and financial well-being initiatives across the Cornerstone footprint.
The Cornerstone Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to every chapter, sponsor, and participant who helped make this year’s Festival of Trees season a success.
