The power of advocacy has shone brilliantly throughout the Don’t Tax My Credit Union campaign, and we’ve got the numbers to prove it. As one of the largest credit union leagues in the nation, Cornerstone members can make an enormous impact—and we have!
The following is a breakdown of the VoterVoice letters submitted through America’s Credit Unions’ platform, as of Monday, May 12:
- Arkansas: 4,311
- Kansas: 2,239
- Missouri: 1,723
- Oklahoma: 5,230
- Texas: 14,566
28,069 Cornerstone-area credit union advocates took action in defense of credit unions’ tax-exempt status. Please keep advocating and use Cornerstone’s DTMCU resources to amplify your message to lawmakers.
