FivePoint Credit Union Promotes Two of Its Stars

Nederland, Texas-based FivePoint Credit Union has announced the promotions of several staff members: Jeremy Martinka and Jennifer Rogers.

Jeremy Martinka

Martinka was promoted to vice president of information technology. He has been employed with FivePoint since 2003 and previously held the roles of assistant vice president of information technology, network manager, systems engineer, and PC technician. He has more than 24 years of experience in the financial industry.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Martinka is an active member of the Emerging Leaders group within the credit union. He graduated from Kountze High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from Lamar University.

 

Jennifer Rogers

Jennifer Rogers

Rogers has been promoted to assistant vice president of lending. She has been employed with FivePoint for 19 years and formerly held the positions of e-services lending manager, assistant branch manager, loan officer, and full-service representative.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Rogers is an active member of the Emerging Leaders group within the credit union. Rogers graduated from Port Neches Groves High School.

 

 

ACU of Texas Promotes Erika Plummer to COO

Erika Plummer

League City, Texas-based Associated Credit Union of Texas has promoted Erika Plummer to the role of chief operations officer. She joined the credit union as senior vice president of operations and has made a significant impact, leading the branch network with strategic vision, operational excellence, and a commitment to member service.

With over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, Plummer brings a wealth of industry knowledge in credit unions and banks. She previously served as vice president of the retail branch network at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU), where she oversaw branch operations at Texas’ fourth-largest credit union. Her leadership and expertise in operational management, member engagement, and strategic planning have consistently driven growth and efficiency, making her the ideal leader to take on this expanded role.

Beyond her professional achievements, Erika is passionate about serving her community, particularly with youth, financial literacy, and veterans and their families.

“We are thrilled to have Erika step into the role of COO,” said ACU of Texas President/CEO Clay Franks. “With her vision and proven track record, we are confident that she will be instrumental in driving innovation and enhancing our member experience.”

 

Vanessa Bridges

Vanessa Bridges Retires from Angelina Federal Employees CU

After 18 years of dedicated service, Vanessa Bridges will retire from Angelina Federal Employees Credit Union on April 30. Bridges is hanging up her tenure as accounting clerk to pursue her passion for travel and spending time with family.

In a statement, the credit union's leaders extended their deepest gratitude: “Throughout her tenure, Vanessa has been an invaluable member of our credit union family. Her unwavering commitment, exceptional work ethic, and dedication to supporting our members have played a significant role in our organization's growth and success. Vanessa’s contributions have made a lasting impact on both our team and the many members she has served.”
