Celebrate Changemakers with a Cornerstone Award: Who Will You Nominate?

The annual Cornerstone Awards are open for submissions and nominations. Help us acknowledge Cornerstone’s seasoned visionaries, talented professionals, and dedicated volunteers. Outstanding chapters will also be recognized with the Chapter of the Year Award, and credit unions are encouraged to submit their creative marketing efforts for a chance to take home a Pinnacle Award.  

Awards Deadline 
Submit or nominate by Feb. 7, unless otherwise noted.  

Award winners (with the exception of the Young Professional of the Year) will be honored at IMPACT: Cornerstone Annual Meeting scheduled for May 13–16. The Young Professional of the Year recipient is recognized during the Young Professional’s Conference April 9–11.  

Award Categories 

• Hall of Fame: Celebrate those whose lifelong contributions inspire us all.  

• Read about Gary Parker, the 2024 Hall of Fame recipient. 

• Professional of the Year: Recognize outstanding professionals elevating the movement. 

• Small CU Achiever’s Award: Highlight leaders advancing small credit unions. 

• Volunteer of the Year: Applaud volunteers giving their all for the community. 

• Listen or read about Deborah Conder, the 2024 Volunteer of the Year. 

• Young Professional of the Year: Spotlighting a standout in the field.   

• Listen or read about Corey Cunningham, the 2024 Young Professional of the Year. 

• Chapter of the Year: Acknowledge significant Chapter contributions in advocacy, community, and development.  

• Pinnacle Awards: Praise creative credit union marketing. Deadline to submit is Feb. 28, 2025.
