Exciting News for KU Alumni: Membership Eligibility at Truity Credit Union

Read time: 1 min, 7 secs

Lawrence, Kan.-based Truity Credit Union announced that the KU Alumni Association and Truity are expanding their historic partnership. All Alumni Association members are now eligible for membership with Truity, unlocking access to exclusive accounts and services not typically available to the public.

This initiative highlights Truity’s commitment to supporting Jayhawks nationwide with a better way to bank. Alumni can enjoy outstanding savings rates, convenient and rewarding checking accounts, locally serviced mortgages, and much more—all backed by the member-focused service that defines Truity Credit Union.

This exciting partnership builds on the strong ties between Truity and the KU community, rooted in a shared history through Phillips 66 and Truity’s acquisition of the KU Credit Union in 1990. Earlier this year, Truity proudly became the official credit union of the KU Alumni Association, reinforcing its commitment as a vital supporter of KU students and alumni alike.

Aaron Beldner, president/CEO of the $1 billion-asset credit union, said, “Truity’s roots in Kansas are strong, and we are proud to offer unique financial solutions and support to the Jayhawk community. This expansion furthers our mission to serve members and communities with financial services and deepened connections.”

As the KU Alumni Association's official credit union, Truity is dedicated to enhancing alumni programs such as the Jayhawk Career Network, the Rock Chalk Forever fundraising event, and student recruitment initiatives. Their commitment is further showcased through their sponsorship of Traditions Hall at the Jayhawk Welcome Center and the upcoming opening of a new Truity Campus branch at The Crossing on Iowa Street, conveniently located near KU’s West Campus and Daisy Hill.
